Fashion Inspiration: Madame Grès

Madame Grès (1903-1993) was the creator of the haute couture fashion house "Grès". In 1942, she launched this design house in Paris. She focused on sculpting sophisticated, timeless gowns. These dresses below were designed over decades, and still, you could see any of them on a red carpet today. I want them all.

This summer there was a French exhibit called "Madame Grès: The Couture à l'Oeuvre" at Le Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris honoring her decades of work.
